Your scooter is equipped with precision bearings that were filled with grease under high pressure during manufacturing.
For this reason, the wheels only run smoothly and quickly under load. Bearings are maintenance-free but also wear parts. Caution! Worn bearings produce clearly audible noises and their function is limited.
To ensure optimal riding enjoyment and maintain long-term safety, you should immediately replace any bearings that are even slightly worn.
Worn ball bearings can be pressed or pried out of the rim using a punch tool or screwdriver.
The new ball bearings are then pressed into the bearings from both sides. Place a ball bearing on a firm, protected surface and press the wheel with the bearing mount onto the ball bearing until it is flush.
Then place the second ball bearing on the surface, center the spacer on it. Turn the wheel over and repeat the process.
For full load and daily use, we recommend replacing the wheels and bearings every six months. Bearings are available as accessories in our online shop.
